Josh the Baby Otter is a mobile application designed to promote water safety awareness among young children. The primary objective of this app is to address drowning, a leading cause of death for children aged 1 to 4 years, with the aim of significantly reducing its incidence. By imparting knowledge about water safety from an early age, we hope to foster a sense of fun and togetherness around water-related activities.
JCMF Children's Charities spearheads initiatives like Josh the Otter and Float 4 Life programs, dedicated to advancing water safety education for children globally. The organization strives to inform both children and adults worldwide about water safety practices through comprehensive drowning prevention campaigns and early childhood training programs. The overarching vision is to eradicate drowning incidents by instilling comprehensive water safety education and awareness, thus bringing about a transformative shift in how individuals perceive aquatic environments.
The focal point of our educational endeavors is to convey a straightforward yet engaging message to children:

To date, 150,000 copies of the "Josh the Baby Otter" book have been disseminated to childcare facilities, preschools, and kindergarten classes nationwide. With sustained backing, we are committed to integrating this life-saving information into educational curricula across the United States and beyond. We firmly believe that the impact of the book "Josh the Baby Otter" has already been profound in safeguarding numerous children's lives and will continue to do so in the future.
